“This special gathering aims to inspire all officers in the Light of Salvation (LOS) who faithfully carry out their duties, a recognition of their hard work and sacrifices in service to God.”

This was what Brother Christian Pajarillo, LOS overseer of the Ecclesiastical District of Marikina, Philippines, said regarding the special gathering in their district on June 14, 2026 held at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Concepcion. It was attended by LOS secretaries and overseers and other Church officers. Brother Cyrus Jose Dizon, district supervising minister, officiated at the holy occasion.

Also during the gathering, 104 new LOS secretaries took their oath of office administered by Brother Alejandro Taguines, district Church officers overseer.

“My heart is filled with joy because this is my first time to hold an office in the Church. Through this, I will be able to serve the Lord God,” said Cutie Mae Martin, newly sworn in LOS secretary from Bayan-bayanan Congregation.

“My fellow LOS officers and I are truly blessed to have attended this special gathering intended for us. This occasion gave us all the more inspiration, motivation, and strength in performing our duties,” said Mhel Erika Aquino, LOS secretary from Parang Congregation.

After the special gathering, the attendees attended a socializing activity. They were treated with food and refreshments and were entertained by talented LOS secretaries from each local congregation through a Videoke Challenge. — With reports from Claidenn Villar
