In celebration of its first anniversary, the Local Congregation of Dacheng, in the Ecclesiastical District of Taiwan South, held a musical presentation on June 1, 2026 at an event venue in Erlin Township, Changhua County, Taiwan.
The purpose of the activity was to offer heartfelt thanksgiving to Almighty God for His constant guidance, protection, and abundant blessings throughout the congregation’s first year. This was declared by Brother Mayonel D. Taal, district supervising minister, in his opening remarks which he delivered after the opening prayer led by minister of the gospel, Brother Alex Carmesis.
Brother Taal welcomed the guests and thanked the brethren for their steadfast support and enthusiastic participation in the various activities launched by the Church Administration.
Talented brethren and Church officers treated fellow members and guests to musical performances featuring INC original music, some of which were Ikaw Ang Inspirasyon (You Are My Inspiration) and Ako’y Iyong Ihatid Sa Bayang Banal (Lead Me to the Holy City).
“I witnessed how our congregation began as a group worship service (GWS),” shared Oliver Oliveros, a finance officer. “Having this celebration is truly a blessing from the Lord. It is a reminder that He has never forsaken us.”
Fellow pioneering member Gilbert Malalauan, head deacon, likewise expressed his gratitude to the Church Administration for their continued care for the brethren’s spiritual welfare through the ministers assigned in their district. “We had our struggles, but through their guidance and with God’s help, we were able to overcome them,” he said.
Brother Michael Alvarez, resident minister, also conveyed thankfulness to God for His continuous blessings upon His servants in this part of the world. “On behalf of the brethren, we vow to remain loyal to God and to the Church Administration,” he stated.
Brother Sixto Gansit Jr., assistant district supervising minister, delivered the closing remarks followed by a prayer led by Brother Ronel Arcilla, district edification overseer. — With reports from Jake Torio
