Under the INC Giving project of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ), brethren from the Local Congregation of Dolo, Ecclesiastical District of Iriga City, Camarines Sur, in the Philippines, conducted a coastal clean-up drive and appreciation for coast guard and tourist police personnel on June 3, 2026.

Held at Talisay Boulevard and at the port area of Barangay Dolo, San Jose, Camarines Sur, respectively, “these activities were in line with the biblical teaching that states, ‘Whenever you possibly can, do good to those who need it’,” Brother Jelly Angel M. Del Rosario, resident minister, shared. Thus, “activities such as these are part of our reaching out to our fellowmen, this time law enforcement and coastal guards, and our effort to help the community in protecting the environment for the benefit of the future generations,” he added.

Working together, the brethren cleaned portions of the shoreline and surrounding coastal areas, helping maintain a cleaner environment for residents and visitors alike. Showing appreciation to members of the coast guard and tourist police personnel for their commitment to public service and community safety, the brethren handed out care packages to them.

Expressing gratitude on behalf of the tourist police personnel, Police Executive Master Sergeant Rommel B. Rebadavia said, “Thank you very much for appreciating us through your activity and for the care packages which are truly helpful to us. We also appreciate the initiative to hold clean-up drive that has contributed in maintaining the cleanliness of our environment, particularly along the seashore.”
