In adherence to God’s teaching to extend help to those in need, Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members from the Ecclesiastical District of Bulacan, Philippines, participated in a blood donation activity on May 23, 2026.

Facilitated by the district Christian Medical Dental and Paramedical Society (CMDPS) officers, this socio-civic activity, which was held at the Iglesia Ni Cristo School For Ministers (SFM) Baliwag Practicum Center in Bulacan, Philippines, saw ministers and ministerial workers leading the brethren for a noble cause.

Those who volunteered to donate blood went through the required screening process, which included blood screening, blood pressure monitoring, body weight check-up, and physical examination. Out of 127 participants, 85 were qualified to donate. The collected blood bags were turned over to the Jose B. Lingad Memorial General Hospital.

“These blood donation activities greatly help Church members and nonmembers alike, especially those who have insufficient means,” said Blena Enong, CMDPS officer from the Local Congregation of Pag-asa. “Moreover, donating blood also has benefits for our health,” she added.

One of the donors, Rohan Hermogenes from the Bustos Congregation, expressed, “I’m happy because, through this activity of the Church, we are able to help our brethren, as well as our fellowmen in need of blood [donation].” He added, “I will continue participating in activities like this.”

“On behalf of the Ecclesiastical District of Bulacan, we thank the Church Administration for launching activities such as this,” said Brother Arnel Basilio, assistant district supervising minister. “We will continue to be united with the aims and projects launched by the Church Administration because these help care for the brethren’s welfare, as well as that of our fellow countrymen who are also in need of assistance.”
