Church officers across the Ecclesiastical District of Central underwent retraining seminars on May 11 and 15, 2026.

The houses of worship of the Cubao, Bago Bantay, and San Francisco congregations served as venues wherein Church officers from nearby congregations gathered.

Respectively, the seminars were led by Brother Ruel Cervantes, assistant district supervising minister; Brother Jefferson Bayaca, district Light Of Salvation overseer; and Brother Jimuel Gatchalian, district Christian Family Organizations overseer.

Regarding its core goal, Brother Cervantes explained, “The retraining seminar is highly important so that officers can be continuously guided in the right conduct as they carry out their duties, while maintaining deep care and concern for the welfare of the brethren.”

A part of the training seminar was a Bible-based lecture. The Church officers were also taught and reminded of the rules and regulations and procedures that they must follow in correctly performing the tasks entrusted to them.

KADIWA officer Sheena Mae Terwel from Cubao Local Congregation shared, “I’m constantly reminded to carry out my duties even more properly, and to serve as a guide and inspiration as I fulfill my obligations.”

Choir member Judea Bianca Rotarla from Araneta Local Congregation expressed, “What stood out in my mind was the mention that a Church officer must be a role model for the brethren. I must show a good example to my fellow brethren and fellowmen.”

Binhi member Hermiogne Daz, from the San Francisco Local Congregation, added, “I learned a lot that has a major relevance to the performance of my duty. This truly helped me recognize the importance of my calling.”
