More brethren took their oath as officers in various capacities with their respective congregations in the Ecclesiastical District of Northern Plains.

This was during a district-wide special gathering of Church officers held on May 3, 2026 with the Local Congregation of Minneapolis, Minnesota’s house of worship serving as the host site while 14 others, local congregations and group worship services (GWS) alike, connected through livestreaming.

Brother Elmer J. Parungao, district supervising minister, delivered an inspiring Bible-based lesson on how Church officers should continue fulfilling their duties faithfully despite the trials they encounter in life.

Brother Junie A. Alarin, district Church officers overseer, administered the oath-taking of the new officers.

“I’m deeply thankful to our Almighty God because this is a manifestation of His great love that inspires me to remain steadfast in my election,” said Edwin Short, from the Local Congregation of Kansas City, Kansas. “Despite the challenges I am facing, I am motivated to be even more active, fulfilling my duty within His holy Church. Come what may, I firmly believe in, trust, and rely on what God can do for us,” he added.

With its district office situated along 4630 France Avenue, North Robbinsdale, Minneapolis, Minnesota, the Ecclesiastical District of Northern Plains supervises seven local congregations, and 12 GWS.
