Led by the Christian Medical Dental and Paramedical Society (CMDPS) of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ), the Local Congregation of Ecopark, Ecclesiastical District of Quezon City, conducted a medical mission on April 18, 2026 at the activity area in their place of worship’s compound.

Among the services availed during the said socio-civic activity were blood pressure monitoring, blood sugar counting, general check-up, dermatological services, and OB gynecological consultations. Medicines and vitamins were also given for free.

“I am happy for being among those who were able to benefit from the free medical services offered,” expressed Evangeline Bandol. “I truly feel the compassion of the Church Administration through activities like this.”

For Zandara Quitalig, Technical Support for Videostreaming (TSV) and Children’s Worship Service (CWS) officer, “This activity is timely especially that the current situation makes it difficult for many people to buy medicines and avail medical services.”

“This activity was successful because of God’s help through the Church Administration,” expressed Dr. Virginia Yarcia, OB gynecologist and CMDPS officer. “It is truly heartwarming whenever I am able to use the knowledge and skills blessed upon me by our Lord God in helping our fellowmen.”

“My fellow medical professionals and I may all be busy with our individual schedules, but whenever there is a need for us to share our knowledge in treating the illnesses of our fellowmen, we never hesitate to extend our help,” Dr. Helen Patawaran, dermatologist and CMDPS officer, shared. “We do all of these for we firmly believe that by doing this, we give glory to God.” –With reports from Ritchel Gallebo
