The Local Congregation of El Cajon, Ecclesiastical District of San Diego County, California recently celebrated its 25th anniversary commemoration with a special worship service and anniversary program on April 5, 2025. These were respectively held at their house of worship and at the Courtyard by Marriott along Magnolia Avenue, El Cajon, California.

Brother Matthew T. Capistrano, district supervising minister, officiated the worship service highlighting the congregation’s celebration as the brethren thank and glorify God for all His help to them.

He exhorted the congregants through a Bible-based lesson to uphold their faith, explaining that they will receive God’s unwavering love if they remain in unity and steadfastness in performing their Church duties.

“I’m grateful to the Lord God for helping us in the congregation to reach this milestone anniversary,” expressed Sister Danielyn Flores, choir member and a pioneer. “God nurtured, supported, and sustained me through the Church Administration over the years resulting in a meaningful and invaluable experience.”

The anniversary program held later that day featured the congregation’s history through an audio and video presentation. Ministers formerly assigned in the congregation, ministerial workers, and students from the INC School For Ministers greeted the brethren through recorded videos. Talented Christian Family Organizations officers and members of the Children’s Worship Service also rendered performances of INC original songs culminating with “God Will Provide Strength.”

Brother Oliver Luzara, resident minister expressed his hope for the congregation, “May the brethren in their 25th anniversary continue to be steadfast in their faith, be more active in serving our Lord God, and also be united with the Church Administration for them to be certain of receiving the promised salvation.” — With assistance from Christian Benedict Co
