The Buklod officers from the Ecclesiastical District of Cavite, in the Philippines, spearheaded a blood donation activity that was held at Mana Town Center, Barangay Tabon I, Centennial Road corner Daang Hari Link, Kawit, Cavite on April 11, 2026.

Gracing the occasion with his presence, Brother Eli C. Hebrew, district supervising minister, even took the lead in donating blood.

Members of the Christian Medical Dental and Paramedical Society facilitated this humanitarian activity in partnership with the Philippine Children’s Medical Center (PCMC). It drew more than 200 volunteers from local congregations across the district, 150 of whom qualified, resulting in the same number of blood bags collected.

“It feels fulfilling to know that the Church Administration continues to support activities like this being a great help to our fellowmen, whether they are members of the Church or not,” said Ferdinand Sequitin, Buklod district president.

“This is my second time donating blood. It feels good to help others,” said Candy Yodico, finance officer from EGM Local Congregation. “The first time was during an emergency when my co-worker needed blood surgery. Knowing that my donation helped extend the life of our fellowmen inspired me to donate again, also because it’s an activity of the Church.”
