Christian Era Broadcasting Service International, Inc. (CEBSI) commemorated its 57th anniversary on February 10, 2026, reaffirming its commitment to producing life-changing, values-driven media as the official broadcast arm of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC). Established in 1969 as Christian Broadcasting Service (CBS), CEBSI has evolved into a multi-platform media organization with a growing global footprint across television, radio, film, and digital platforms.
The anniversary theme emphasized expansion, youth engagement, and spiritual vigilance, reflecting both its historical roots and forward-looking strategy. Events were held worldwide, uniting CEBSI officers and volunteers in a shared mission of evangelization through modern media.
Special worship service highlights spiritual vigilance
The centerpiece of the celebration was a special worship service held in the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Luzon Avenue, led by Brother Angelo Eraño V. Manalo, Deputy Executive Minister of the Iglesia Ni Cristo. The service served as both a spiritual reflection and a directive for CEBSI’s future.
In his homily, Brother Angelo Eraño Manalo delivered a strong reminder on spiritual complacency, warning that harmful influences often begin subtly and can erode faith over time. He stressed spiritual carelessness is not an option. As members of the Church Of Christ are expected to maintain the importance of constant self-examination, discipline, and unwavering obedience to God’s Word, especially in a world filled with distractions and routine.
The message reinforced CEBSI’s core purpose: to remain God-focused and produce content that aligns with the network’s theme, “Changing Lives Through God’s Words.” Brother Bernard M. Dollesin, INCTV Station Manager, reiterated that every production must serve this divine mission.
Evangelical mission at INC Museum promotes faith and history
As part of the anniversary activities, CEBSI hosted an evangelical mission at the INC Museum, combining historical education with spiritual outreach. Guests toured exhibits showcasing the Church’s history before gathering for Bible teachings led by Brother Christian F. Gumabon, CEBSI Admin Head.
Brother Gumabon emphasized the dual responsibility of media workers: to produce high-quality content and to actively invite others to hear God’s message. He stated, “Our mission does not end with producing content … we remain diligent in inviting people to listen to God’s message across all media platforms.”
He also highlighted the importance of responsible use of technology, ensuring that all communications tools are used to remain accurate and aligned with biblical doctrines upheld by the Church.
CEBSI Films seminar strengthens creative and technical capacity
CEBSI Films personnel also conducted a seminar focused on filmmaking processes and scriptwriting organized by CEBSI Academy. The seminar was designed to strengthen the skills of participants while reinforcing the importance of intentional storytelling. Discussions covered key areas of content development, including conceptualization, narrative structure, and practical production approaches.
The goal was to equip participants with both the technical skills and creative discipline needed to produce content that meets CEBSI’s standards.
This initiative supports CEBSI’s broader strategy of developing talent internally, ensuring a consistent pipeline of skilled creators who can contribute to its growing media output.
Multi-platform presence driving reach and engagement
CEBSI continues to operate across multiple platforms to maximize its reach and influence:
These platforms work as a cohesive system to deliver consistent messaging reaching people across different channels and viewing habits.
Global expansion and stronger youth engagement
By means of direct guidance and supervision of the Deputy Executive Minister—Brother Angelo Eraño Manalo, CEBSI fixated on investing in production quality, platform integration, and content innovation to guarantee its messaging remains relevant, especially in an increasingly fast-paced and fragmented media environment.
The organization is placing intensive importance on establishing and strengthening satellite offices both in the Philippines and major countries around the world. This move supports more localized content production, improved regional responsiveness, and stronger engagement with international audiences.
The Church Administration recognizes that a ‘one-size-fits-all’ approach is no longer effective in today’s media landscape. By expanding its global presence, CEBSI aims to create content that is more context-aware while maintaining a unified message and identity. At the same time, intensifying its focus on young audiences. With shifting media habits and shorter attention spans, the organization is adapting its content to be more direct, engaging, and relevant—without compromising its core values.
As it moves beyond its 57th year, CEBSI is positioning itself for a more global and digitally connected future—expanding its reach, engaging the next generation, and staying committed to producing media that informs, uplifts, and makes a meaningful difference.
