A number of brethren were added to the corps of Church officers helping the Ecclesiastical District of Florida & Caribbean leadership and the Church Administration, in general, in watching over the brethren.

They were sworn in during the special gathering of Church officers from all local congregations in the district which they conducted on March 30, 2026.

District supervising minister, Brother Garry C. Garcia, officiated at the sacred occasion, and he also administered the oath-taking oath of new officers.

The event’s whole proceeding was broadcast live from the house of worship of the Orlando Congregation, the host site, to three other sites, namely the places of worship of St. Petersburg, Miami, and Grand Cayman Island. A total of over 580 attended.

“Special gatherings like this are essential for the edification of the faith of Church officers. Hopefully, their strengthened zeal will maintain their devotion to serve the Lord God no matter what,” Brother Garcia said in an interview. During his Bible-based preaching, the supervising minister pointed out that Church officers ought to strive to become role models of being devoted in serving God by keenly obeying God’s will that the Church Administration untiringly teaches.

Bryan Fayer from Miami, one of those newly sworn into duty as a local safety officer said, “It will always be my joy to help the Church Administration in catering the needs of the Church. Fulfilling my duties also train me to become a better person and above all, for me to be closer to God. Thus, I will always strive to perform my obligations in accordance to His will.”

Brother Garcia also inspired the congregants that amid the tumultuous world they live in, they must uphold their zeal in pleasing God so that they could ask through earnest prayers His constant help and guidance. — With assistance from Renee Suarez
