“My co-worker invited me. It’s been amazing,” Happy Udinyiwe, a guest, said. Having understood the lesson, he added, “I really want to worship God, to know more about Him, to live a faithful and godly life as well.”

He was among the guests who attended the evangelical mission hosted by Surrey Congregation, under the care of the Ecclesiastical District of Columbia, Canada, on February 9, 2026, at the house of worship of the congregation.

“Merely believing in the Savior and doing good works are not enough for people to be worthy of salvation,” said resident ministerial worker Brother Kurt Patrick O. Magbujos. In the evangelical mission, he emphasized through the Bible that the Lord Jesus Christ Himself admonishes people to find and enter the true Church so they will be forgiven of sins and have the right to serve the Lord God. This is so because this Church is the one that the Lord Jesus Christ redeemed with His blood.

Brother Magbujos then presented proofs from the Bible that the true Church in these last days is the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ).

The way for sins to be truly forgiven was presented. That’s true salvation. That is what I want my guest to learn about so that, God willing, we altogether will receive salvation on Judgment Day,” said Ofelyn Sese who invited Udinyiwe.

Surrey is one among 14 local congregations in the said district with Brother Glendo H. Baitan as its supervising minister.
