As part of the commemoration of its ninth year of existence, the Local Congregation of Doña Nene in the Ecclesiastical District of Bataan South, Philippines conducted an evangelical mission on February 7, 2026, a week after the date of its establishment.

District Christian Family Organizations overseer Brother Jomiel Gatchalian presided over the evangelical mission, which was held at the congregation’s house of worship. He explained to the guests that Church members share their faith to help their fellowmen make sure that the worship they render is according to God’s will. Citing Bible verses, he then proved that they could do so primarily by joining the true Church—the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ).

The brethren brought along more than 170 guests. One of them named Jesabel Dela Cruz said in an interview, “I want to know more about the doctrines this Church upholds.” Similarly, Valeria Poquez said, “I want to understand what God’s will is for me, which is why I want to further my knowledge of it.”

“Uniting with this activity is important to spread God’s words of truth, so that more people will be saved,” said resident ministerial worker Brother Djuniel Bryan Tejada. On behalf of the congregation, he added, “We are always one with the Church Administration in propagating His will. We will continue serving Him to be worthy of His promised salvation.”

The Doña Nene Congregation was established on January 31, 2017. Besides the evangelical mission, it celebrated its anniversary through a socializing activity on February 1, 2025. Its members had fun bonding with one another via interactive games as they were treated to renditions of Iglesia Ni Cristo original songs for their enjoyment and spiritual upliftment.
