Part of INC Giving events organized by the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ), the Ecclesiastical District of Agusan Del Norte, in the Philippines, held a school supply donation drive at Cabadbaran City National High School, City of Cabadbaran, Agusan Del Norte, on July 20, 2025. More than 700 students benefited.

The activity was supervised by district supervising minister Brother Nicanor Bernardo Jr. and district Christian Family Organizations (CFO) overseer Brother Alfredo Yonzon. “This INC Giving activity was held for Grade 7 students, aiming to extend help to those in greater need,” Brother Yonzon explained.

“I’m truly thankful to the Iglesia Ni Cristo for the school supplies,” student Joanny Piamonte expressed. “This is a huge help to me, especially with how expensive things are nowadays.”

The students received school items such as notebooks, ballpens, and tumblers. “My heart was filled with joy seeing the students’ delight as they received the supplies,” said district KADIWA officer Kyle Pitao, being among the brethren who participated in handing out the said items.

“We’re overwhelmed with joy by this unexpected activity of giving gifts to our students. It greatly helped those who struggle financially, easing the burden of those lacking school supplies,” said teacher Rolyn Uwapin. On behalf of the students, she added, “Thank you so much to the Iglesia Ni Cristo for sharing their blessings.” — With reports from Cristen Junna Dacera of INC News Section
