On March 26, 2021, the Wewak Group Worship Service, which is under the Ecclesiastical District of Australia West, reached out to the residents of the neighboring community of Walu in East Sepik province of Papua New Guinea.
The brethren from Wewak first invited the Walu residents to study with them the words of God, which was led by ministerial worker, Brother Edmark Velasco. Afterwards, the brethren handed out food parcels to the guests.
Brother Velasco attested: “Despite the dangers and difficulties traversing this place, the faithful and dedicated brethren did not cease in sharing their faith and extending care to the residents being afflicted with the pandemic crisis.”
Many of those invited thanked the brethren and inquired more about the Bible-based lesson they were taught, looking forward to more Church activities in their area. — With reports from INC News Section
