PHILIPPINES—The Local Congregation of Bagtas’ new house of worship was dedicated to the Lord God in a special worship service on November 27, 2020. The house of worship, which can accommodate 1,056 worshipers at a time, is situated in Barangay Bagtas, Tanza, Cavite, Philippines.
Formerly an area (purok) of the Local Congregation of Trece Martires, Ecclesiastical District of Cavite South, the brethren in Bagtas hoped to have a house of worship nearer their homes. They conducted devotional prayers and asked for the Lord God’s help.
Their prayers to God were answered as the Church Administration approved the construction of a bigger and more beautiful house of worship. The brethren were further strengthened in the faith because of the great blessing that they received.
Brother Edgardo Macalino, district supervising minister, officiated at the dedication worship service. He expressed,“We thank our Lord God for using the Church Administration so that the congregation would have a more suitable house of worship. We promise to our Lord God and to the Church Administration that we will continue to unite in all the activities of the Church, such as intensifying the propagation of the gospel and further edifying each brethren in the faith just as how the Church Administration cares for us.”— With reports from INC News Section
