One with the noble efforts to protect the environment, Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members from the Ecclesiastical District of Thailand, united in completing a tree-planting project to improve vegetation of a vacant land in Rayong, the capital city of the province of the same name.
The land, according to the Thai nationals who served as guides, was being eyed by the government to turn into a public park.
Working hand in hand, the brethren, led by district supervising minister Brother Willen Regalado, reached on a single day, March 19, 2022, the targeted number of saplings of various trees to be planted.
Pradung Thammarangrong, government official present during the activity, acknowledged the brethren’s efforts through a letter of appreciation presented to the district leadership.
“We feel very touched and honored. The teamwork and unity you’ve shown will surely benefit the society. Thank you for that,” said Prapit Witoon, another Thai official, who also graced the event. — With reports from INC News Section
