A district-wide special gathering held by the Ecclesiastical District of Italy South edified Church officers. The activity, part of the district’s commemoration of the 12th year of the administration of Brother Eduardo V. Manalo in the Church, was held on September 7, 2021.
Church officers in Rome attended the holy gathering in their house of worship, which served as the host site, while others connected through videoconferencing either from their local congregation’s respective house of worship or from their homes.
From the host site, Brother Randy Macalinao, the district supervising minister, led the sacred occasion. In his Bible-based homily, he motivated the brethren to keep holding on to their duties and fulfill them with devotion as doing so strengthens faith and brings them closer to the Lord God.
“We promise to continue uniting in the activities he is launching, such as in the edification and propagation. We will strive to encourage our fellow officers and brethren for us to triumph in these endeavors,” Bartolome Villajuan, head deacon of the Local Congregation of Roma Ovest, said.
With her zeal renewed and having been inspired yet again to continue fulfilling her duty, Juliet Constantino, a deaconess in Rome Local Congregation, said “I promise to continue helping the Church Administration in caring for the Church members.”
“This kind of gathering continues to help and strengthen the officers inside the Church, who are also helpers of the Church Administration in watching over, caring for, and loving the brethren, to help guide them towards obedience, towards serving and worshiping our God—until we receive the promised salvation,” Brother Vizar Balcita, assistant district supervising minister, said. — With reports from INC News Section
