Uniting with the aim of the Church Administration to further intensify the works of propagation, Church members in the Ecclesiastical District of South Korea, actively participated in a series of online evangelical missions that started on the first week of April 2021. They utilized various social media platforms to invite guests to the event.
In preparation for the evangelistic event, brethren sent out invitations and links of the evangelical mission to their friends, acquaintances, and loved ones. Some even personally visited potential guests, while adhering to health protocols, to personally ask them to witness the said activity.
To effectively reach out to many people as possible, the series of evangelical missions, through videoconferencing, were delivered in three languages: Filipino, English, and Korean.
On April 1 (Thursday), Brother Timothy Kim Reyes, minister of the gospel, led the study of God’s words in Korean. Meanwhile, on April 2 (Friday) and 5 (Monday), Brother Victorino Manaois, district Light of Salvation (LOS) overseer, preached in Filipino. The following day, April 6 (Tuesday), Brother Jerick dela Cruz, district supervising minister, taught the words of God in English.
Set to continue throughout the month of April, the evangelical mission will be held every 9:30 in the evening, Mondays and Fridays in Filipino, Tuesdays in English, and Thursdays in Korean. The remaining days of the week are designated for inviting guests to also attend the worship services in each local congregation.
Many of the guests expressed their gratitude for being given the chance to know more about the Church. Others have already signified their intention to continue listening to the teachings inside the Church Of Christ by attending Bible studies and evangelical missions in the future.
“The district of South Korea continues to intensify its propagational works despite the pandemic through conducting online evangelical missions,” said Brother Manaois, “We thank the Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, for his guidance to us and we promise to him that we will always unite in all the holy endeavors of the Church.” — With reports from INC News Section
