Before February ended, hundreds of new converts were baptized in the two ecclesiastical districts in Negros Island, Philippines. This bountiful harvest was the result of the joint efforts of the brethren in sharing the true Christian faith to their fellow Negrenses.
On February 25, 2022, two simultaneous baptisms were administered by the leadership of Ecclesiastical District of Negros del Norte. Brother Mario Mabuti, district supervising minister, officiated at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Sagay City while the assistant district supervising minister, Brother Raul Gonzales, led the holy gathering at the Canlaon City Local Congregation’s house of worship.
The Ecclesiastical District of Negros Oriental, meanwhile, conducted four consecutive baptisms in two days led by the assistant district supervising minister, Brother James Jasper Villanueva.
On February 25, the baptism of new converts was performed at the house of worship of Mabinay Town Proper Local Congregation at 9:00 a.m. It was then followed at 3:00 p.m. held at the Riverside Congregation’s house of worship.
The following day, February 26, the prospective members received their much-awaited baptism at the house of worship of Dumaguete City Local Congregation at 9:00 a.m. The second group of new converts was baptized at the Farmville Congregation’s house of worship at 3:00 p.m.
