A new house of worship of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) in Santiago City, Isabela, Philippines has formally opened for the use of the members of the Local Congregation of Rosario in their religious gatherings.
Brother Rene J. Panoncillo, the Church’s general secretary, officiated at the special worship service for the dedication to the Lord God of the sacred edifice.
Brethren from other local congregations in the Ecclesiastical District of Isabela South joined the worshipers from Rosario in giving thanks and praises to God during the sacred occasion held on May 29, 2022.
Regarding the 850-seater house of worship situated in Purok 7, Brgy. Rosario, Santiago City, Isabela, Brother Dominador Tapang, the district supervising minister, said, “We are thankful, first of all, to our Lord God for this blessing and to the Church Administration which had it constructed, where the brethren can continue to conduct worship services to glorify God.”
Besides the house of worship, the Church Administration had a parsonage, caretaker’s house, and offices constructed for the Rosario Congregation whose members Alexander Gregorio, the head deacon, attested “have unceasingly united with the Church Administration through the years and their spiritual fervor in serving God did not diminish.”
Expressing the faith of the brethren in the congregation, their resident minister Brother Teofilo Patungan Jr., said, “We recognize that this beautiful and big house of worship is one of the manifestations of our Lord God’s love for us.”
“We will take care of this house of worship and we will further dedicate ourselves in attending our worship services,” Brother Tapang promised on behalf of the district, particularly the members of the Rosario Congregation. — With reports from INC News Section
