“This is a proof of God’s love and compassion,” Cagayan East Ecclesiastical District supervising minister, Brother Augusto Galapon, said of the house of worship of the Aparri Local Congregation, which was dedicated anew following its general renovation.
“At a time of worsening poverty due to the pandemic, the district, with the Church Administration on the lead, is able to continue with its construction and renovation of houses of worship. All praises belong to God. We will continue to unite and submit to the Church Administration,” he added.
On June 26, 2021, Brother Galapon led the Church members from Aparri in the inaugural worship service for their newly renovated house of worship. This came just nine days after the ecclesiastical district also dedicated to God another newly renovated house of worship—that of the Local Congregation of Sta. Teresita.
In addition to its ornate architectural designs, the newly renovated house of worship, which is located in Aparri, Cagayan, Philippines, takes pride of its newly installed Johannus organ, sound system, and CCTV system.
The congregation’s members and officers conveyed their thanks to God for granting their prayer with the instrumentality of the Church Administration. “Thank you so much Brother Eduardo V. Manalo,” Erlinda Gabat, choir member, said. “Our prayers to God about our house of worship were finally answered. We will all the more be active in our services to Him.”
On behalf of the brethren, the resident minister, Brother Rolando Robles, said, “This is an inspiration for us to all the more devote in fulfilling our Church duties. We will invite our fellowmen to be here inside our new house of worship. We will remain united in the propagational works led by our Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo.”
Besides the house of worship, the parsonage, an eight-door residential housing for the district staff, and the district office also underwent renovation. — With reports from INC News Section
