The propagation efforts of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) in the Caribbean continues to be strong in Haiti.
From January 26 to 29, 2023, the leadership the Ecclesiastical District of Caribbean led a series of evangelical missions to bring the pure gospel of salvation to various communities throughout the island-country.
The evangelistic events were officiated at by the district supervising minister, Brother Esteban Inocencio, as well as the ministers and ministerial workers assigned in the country.
On January 26, the evangelical mission was held in Caiman, a town in northern Haiti. The following day, January 27, the delegation of ministers went to the towns of Bayara, Ravine Pak, and Dizyem Plen to introduce the pure teachings of God upheld by the Church Of Christ to the residents.
Meanwhile, on January 28 the evangelical mission was conducted in the town of Pigeon, almost 29 kilometers southeast of Port-au-Prince, the country’s capital city.
On the last day of the series of missionary activities, January 29, the proclamation of God’s words took place in Petit-Goâve, a coastal town around 68 kilometers southwest of Port-au-Prince.
Alex Pierre, a newly baptized member from Petit-Goâve, was among those who participated in the evangelical mission by inviting his friends and loved ones to listen to the teachings upheld in the Church.
He said, “I will encourage more people to join the Church Of Christ so they, too, can take part in great activities like these. To all members of the Church, let’s continue to hold on firmly to the faith because the Church Of Christ is the only way to receive salvation and be closer to God.”
At the end of each activity, brethren handed out care packages containing basic grocery items to the guests. — With reports from INC News Section
