The Ecclesiastical District of Paniqui, Tarlac in the Philippines dedicated to the Lord God the newly renovated house of worship of the Local Congregation of Pedro L. Quines on January 15, 2021, the first of such events in the district for this year.
The congregation’s former house of worship that sits 80 worshipers at a time was dedicated to God in 1997.
With the increase of membership in the congregation and over 20 years of use, the former house of worship was renovated and upgraded to sit 110 worshipers in every worship service.
In the dedication worship service, congregants followed safety and health protocols implemented by the government.
Officiating at the dedication service, Brother Fernando Cruz, district supervising minister, emphasized in his homily the importance of houses of worship as the place where worship services to God are held.
“Truly, the Lord God is full of love and concern for His nation—the Church Of Christ in these last days—because He used as instrument the Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, for this congregation to have a more suitable house of worship despite the pandemic,” Brother Cruz said.
The brethren expressed their gratitude to God for, through the Church Administration, their former house of worship was renovated.
“We are thankful to the Lord God for giving us a new house of worship,” Arsenia Surat, a pioneer brethren, expressed.
Brother Paul Justin Austria, resident ministerial worker, promised on behalf of the congregation, “We will take care of this holy edifice and unite with all the works of the Church.” — With reports from INC News Section
