Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members from various local congregations in the Ecclesiastical District of Northwest California joined hands to help keep Pacifica Beach off the Pacific Coast Highway in California, USA litter-free.
In collaboration with Pacific Beach Coalition, an all-volunteer based organization, the brethren on August 13, 2022 cleared the favorite summer getaway, better known to surfers as Linda Mar Beach, of trash and debris, which they then properly disposed of.
For the brethren’s united efforts at the said environmental action, current council member and former mayor of Daly City, Juslyn Manalo, presented a certificate of recognition to the Church.
Part of the certificate reads, “Thank you for community service for the communities and neighborhoods you serve in. Also for your commitment to environmental sustainability and justice. I wish you nothing but the best and blessings in all your endeavor.” — With reports from Northwest CA Multimedia
