After closing 2020 by celebrating with loved ones, Church members from the Local Congregation of Napolan, Ecclesiastical District of Zamboanga del Sur opened the new year’s activities by showing love and care to the people in their communities.
Under the leadership of their resident minister, Brother Rouel Carpio, they conducted a Lingap sa Mamamayan (Aid to Humanity) on January 2, 2021.
With the relief and goodwill bags they handed out, they hoped to be able to help, in their simple way, with the basic need of the recipients.
“We thank the Executive Minister for allowing us to conduct this activity, giving aid to our fellow brethren, doctrinal instructees, and even nonmembers as the Lord God commands us to do. To Him be all the glory,” he said.
The recipients expressed their thankfulness. Gretchen Eslit, said, “It is heartwarming to receive this aid from the Church Administration. Thank you.”
Arcelyn Morato added, “This aid is truly helpful to us especially in this time of pandemic.” — With reports from INC News Section
