“We saw a great significant change in our lives when we learned that the Iglesia Ni Cristo [Church Of Christ] is the true religion,” said Mary Jane Fangon. Enlightened by God’s truths written in the Bible, together with her family, she decided to leave the Born Again movement and join the Church Of Christ.
Having completed the necessary requirements in joining the Church, Mary Jane’s household, together with other prospective members, received baptism on March 8, 2022 at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Santiago Norte, Ecclesiastical District of La Union.
During the baptismal service led by the assistant district supervising minister, Brother Jonie Sibalo, the baptismal candidates were reminded of the utmost importance of receiving baptism in the true Church—the Church Of Christ. It was reiterated to them that through baptism, they are counted among those who will inherit life everlasting in the Holy City.
“Whatever trials we may experience, we promise to remain inside the Church,” said Mary Jane. Her husband and two children are now enlisted in the Local Congregation of San Isidro.
Brother Dennis Cabusora, resident minister of the Local Congregation of Aringay, expressed, “We thank our Lord God for bestowing us victories in the work of propagation. We will continue to uphold the Church’s holy endeavors for His honor and glory.” — With reports from INC News Section
