Members of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) look at these trying times, brought about by the pandemic, as an opportunity to all the more fulfill God’s command to reach out and share their faith to others.
As a result of their intensified efforts, a baptism was conducted by the Ecclesiastical District of Manitoba in Canada on June 7, 2021 at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Regina, Saskatchewan.
Together with the brethren from various local congregations in the Prairie Region, the candidates for baptism solemnly gathered at the house of worship before the appointed time of the holy occasion, while following safety protocols.
Prior to their immersion into the water, the assistant district supervising minister, Brother Rodrigo Malacad Jr., preached about the obligations of a true Church member to the Almighty God in order to remain active in their divine election and be certain of attaining salvation.
The brethren in the district were inspired to see the fruits of their labors to finally receive their baptism as they also witnessed the sacred occasion through vidoeconferencing from the confines of their homes. — With reports from INC News Section
