On April 10, 2022, members of the Christian Medical Dental and Paramedical Society (CMDPS) in Italy South hosted an activity simply but aptly named Frontliner Appreciation for the staff of La Rete di Tutti, a volunteer organization that offers blood services all over Italy.
To express their gratitude to medical frontliners for their selfless efforts and service to the community especially during the height of the pandemic crisis, the brethren, led by Ronald Fernandez, district CMDPS president, visited the office of La Rete di Tutti in Rome to meet with the staff led by its director, Dr. Donatella Pia Dambra.
As a gesture of appreciation for the frontliners from the said charity organization, the brethren gave them bouquets with heartfelt ‘thank you’ notes. The brethren also took the opportunity to share the true faith with them by handing out copies of Pasugo:God’s Message magazine.
“I am thankful to the Church Of Christ for conducting this appreciation day for our health workers,” conveyed Dr. Dambra. La Rete di Tutti has benefited from blood donation drives of the Church in this part of Italy over the years.
The CMDPS, which is under the overall supervision of the Christian Family Organizations (CFO) Office of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ), is composed of brethren who are also in the medical field and allied disciplines. It aims to help in organizing health-related activities in each ecclesiastical district. —With reports from INC News Section
