The Ecclesiastical District of Isabela East dedicated to the Lord God the new house of worship of the Local Congregation of Labinab through a special worship service on November 27, 2020.
The chapel of the local congregation was the first to be dedicated this year in the district. Other houses of worship under construction are for the Local Congregations of Mambabanga and Marabulig Dos. Cauayan City Local Congregation’s house of worship is currently under renovation.
“We started the missionary work here in Labinab on 1988, from there it continued to flourish. We requested to the Church Administration for an extension until it became a local congregation,” Robert Aglipay, head deacon, narrated.
Soon, the brethren needed a bigger house of worship for the growing number of members as they continued to actively propagate the gospel in their community.
The concrete house of worship that can seat 150 worshipers is located at Labinab, Cauayan, Isabela, Philippines.
Brother Gil Caberto, district supervising minister, led the dedication worship service.
“We thank the Lord God because he answered the prayers of the brethren here in Labinab that in this day this new house of worship is dedicated,” he said.
On behalf of the brethren in the congregation, who felt happy and blessed for their house of worship where they will continue their worship of God, Brother Caberto said, “We also thank the Church Administration, because even if we are physically distant, they never forget us in this district. We promise that we will be more active in our services to God and continue to unite in all the works of the Church.” — With reports from INC News Section
