Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members in the two ecclesiastical districts in Panay Island, Philippines reaped the fruits of their propagational efforts as two baptisms were recently conducted in their respective provinces.
In the Antique Ecclesiastical District, the Church membership increased as new converts were baptized on March 26, 2021 at the house of worship of Barbaza Local Congregation. The holy occasion was officiated by the district supervising minister, Brother Simeon Laprades Jr.
One of the newly baptized members, Jingle Galido from the Barbaza Congregation expressed: “I am so blessed to be a member of the true Church. When the Day of Judgment comes, I can be certain of receiving the promised salvation.”
According to the resident ministerial worker, Brother Jhemar Ecaranum, the brethren under his care are enthusiastic in sharing the gospel. “In unity with the campaign of the Church Administration, we strive to intensively propagate the words of God so that many people will come to know the truth that would lead them to salvation,” he said.
Likewise, on the following day, March 27, more people in the province of Aklan were added into the fold as the Aklan Ecclesiastical District held a baptism at the Kalibo Local Congregation’s house of worship.
The district supervising minister, Brother Jessie Vicente, led the sacred occasion. Through the Holy Scriptures, he highlighted the great importance of entering and remaining an active member of the Church Of Christ to receive God’s blessings, not only in this life, but most importantly, on Christ’s Second Advent. — With reports from INC News Section
