WAIKANAE, NEW ZEALAND—Brethren from the Local Congregation of Waikanae, Ecclesiastical District of New Zealand united for a clean-up drive on the school grounds of the Paraparaumu School Hall.
The brethren, young and old, carried out this task not only as citizens showing concern for the environment but also as true Christians showing love for their fellowmen.
Later that day, May 18, 2019, a Children’s Worship Service (CWS) and KADIWA fire drill was conducted. The brethren, including young kids, learned how to use fire extinguishers and basic skills that will keep them safe in times of emergencies such as fires and earthquakes.
The activities not only strengthened the unity of the brethren, but also promoted cleanliness in the environment and safety in the neighborhood. — With reports from INC News Section
