The Ecclesiastical District of Southern Africa conducted a blood donation drive for three consecutive days. The humanitarian activity was held at the chapel compound of the Local Congregations of Johannesburg, King William’s Town, and Ladybrand on July 13, 14, and 15, 2019, respectively.
The district coordinated with the South African National Blood Service (SANBS).
The brethren may be far from each other but they did their best to gather and even bring with them fellow volunteer donors. Many were first-time donors. Asked how they felt, they said that being qualified to donate made them happy not only because donating blood brings them and their fellowmen health benefits, but also because they are able to prove their unity with the Church Administration.
Seeing the importance and happiness brought about by the blood donation activity, the brethren said that they will continue in uniting with the Church Administration in all humanitarian efforts it launches. — With reports from INC News Section
