Young Christian adults in Denmark—from the Local Congregation of Copenhagen and Horsens Group Worship Service (GWS) in the Ecclesiastical District of Northern Europe—were very happy to see one another during the “KADIWA meet and greet” activity on February 14, 2021.
“The KADIWA meet and greet activity was a virtual gathering of the KADIWA brethren to socialize and to have fun together,” said Sharmaine Hansen, KADIWA president of Copenhagen, Denmark Local Congregation. She added that the activity “created a stronger bond among the KADIWA members of the Church.”
Through videoconferencing, the participants enjoyed online fun games prepared by the KADIWA officers. The attendees strengthened their bond as brothers and sisters in faith although they are physically distant with one another.
Kenneth Abildgaard, KADIWA member from Copenhagen, Denmark, said, “I always liked attending the organization’s meetings and this was a good chance to see the brethren again even if it was online.”
The single members were thankful for the opportunity to make new friends and socialize with one another despite the pandemic.
“This activity is important because this is one of our ways to know more about one another, to share about ourselves and our thoughts, and to communicate with our brethren. This also built new friendships among us,” Diana Joy Liwanag, a secretary and finance officer from Horsens, Denmark GWS, said. — With reports from INC News Section
