The Ecclesiastical District of CAMANAVA added to its roster of places of worship the Kawal Group Worship Service (GWS) located at 17 Dagat-Dagatan Ave., Maypajo, Caloocan, Metro Manila, Philippines.
Brethren from the Local Congregation of Caloocan who reside in Barangay 28 of Caloocan City can now attend worship service in the new place of worship. The Church Administration approved the establishment of the Kawal GWS and it held its inaugural worship service on December 26, 2020.
Brother Senen Capuno, district supervising minister, officiated at the worship service.
“We consider this additional place of worship as part of the victory given by the Lord God to the Church, because despite the pandemic, the Church continues to grow and spread. One of the reasons we have this new place of worship is to help the brethren conduct their worship services in an orderly way near their homes. We thank God as He uses the Church Administration to oversee the needs of the brethren,” said Brother Capuno.
Places of worship are important to Church Of Christ members because this is where they worship and glorify God. In these times of pandemic, when large religious gatherings are restricted, establishing more places of worship such as that of the Kawal GWS gives many brethren more opportunities to attend congregational worship services.
In behalf of the brethren in CAMANAVA District and Caloocan Congregation, Brother Capuno said, “To our Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, we extend our wholehearted thanks for your love and concern for our spiritual well-being.” — With reports from INC News Section
