Due to fear of contracting Covid-19 in going to hospitals, the number of blood donors greatly decreased recently. Meanwhile, the need for more blood to save lives during this time of pandemic continues to increase.
In response to the situation, Iglesia Ni Cristo members from the Ecclesiastical District of Malaysia volunteered as blood donors in an activity held on March 27, 2021.
Led by the Christian Family Organizations (CFO) officers, the brethren went to the blood banks to donate blood while following the government-implemented safety protocols.
Brother Bernard Bautista, Church officer and a regular blood donor, said, “I am very grateful to be part of this because I know that, by donating my blood, it will save someone else’s life.” — With reports from INC News Section
