As a manifestation of their unity with the aim of the Church Administration in the works of propagation, brethren from the Taiwan Ecclesiastical District reaped the fruits of their labors through consecutive baptisms.
On April 24, 2021, the holy occasion was held at the house of worship of Hukou Local Congregation. On the following day, April 25, the candidates for baptism gathered at the Local Congregation of Zhongli’s house of worship. Both sacred gatherings were officiated by the assistant district supervising minister, Brother Ranilo Borrero.
Prior to the baptism proper, the would-be members attentively listened to the words of God. From the Bible, Brother Borrero taught that being a full-fledged member of the Church is a great privilege as they would receive the hope of salvation come Judgment Day.
Concha de Guzman, a newly baptized member and a former Born Again assistant pastor, shared how she was called into the Church Of Christ. “I was motivated to search for the truth about the true nature of the Almighty God and of the Lord Jesus Christ when I was asked to read a certain Bible verse,” she said. By God’s grace, she found the answers to her questions inside the Church.
Now that she is a member of the Church, she promised: “Whatever happens, I will stand firm in my faith because God gave me a great opportunity to be a member of the true Church.”
Instrumental of her conversion, Analyn Go, recalled, “When I invited her to attend a worship service, she was eager to know more about the Church. Since then, she was very active in attending Bible studies and worship services. I thank God for giving me the strength to share my faith to other people.” — With reports from INC News Section
