INC Radio – DZEM 954, Ang Tinig ng Katotohanan, is the official radio station of the Iglesia ni Cristo. A non-commercial radio station, owned and operated by the Iglesia ni Cristo through the Christian Era Broadcasting Service. It began its broadcast on February 10, 1969, and has proven to be a very effective medium in the propagation of the true faith. Its primary objective is to give praise and glory to the Almighty God, and continues to serve the general public through its 20 hours of religious and informative programs aired Mondays through Sundays. It also airs 24 hours online via live audio streaming through its website and its own mobile live audio streaming application.
INC Radio – DZEM is also known as the most widely traveled radio station in Metro Manila as it began its broadcast in Barrio Ugong del Monte, Quezon City on 1520 kHz with a power of 10,000 watts. On June 3, 1971, it moved to the basement of the Iglesia ni Cristo Central Office in Diliman, Quezon City. Shortly afterwards, it acquired a new frequency, 1460 kHz. On May 10, 1975, DZEM moved to the third floor of the Iglesia ni Cristo Development Center Building at Carlos Palanca St., Quiapo, Manila. After a month, it also altered its frequency to 1360 kHz. Then on November 1978, as a result of band adjustments, DZEM again changed its frequency to 1422 kHz. And on May 9, 1985 found a new home – the third floor of Maligaya Building2 at 887 Epifanio delos Santos Avenue (EDSA), Quezon City. It acquired the frequency of 954 kHz on April 27, 1987.
INC Radio – DZEM 954 is now more invigorated and renewed and will continue to offer programs which are in tune with the preferences of its listeners while holding fast to Christian values. The programs of the station will be inspiring, entertaining and appealing to its listeners.
INC Radio – Iglesia ni Cristo Radio DZEM 954 aims to be in line with the dynamic state of the Church. It will make ecclesiastical news and pertinent information promptly available to the listening public. It is a potent medium to make the activities of the Church more engaging through social media.
The station has long been known for its balanced programming, and since the late 70s, it has received various commendations, plaques, and honors from the broadcast industry like the Broadcast Media Council or BMC, now the Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas or KBP; and from different private and government agencies. Most recent among it’s many recognitions are at the 22nd KBP Golden Dove Awards.
Presently, INC Radio – DZEM is operating on 50,000 watts. Its transmitter site is located at Obando, Bulacan.
